Well, I arrived safely in Florida this morning without incident. Since the Delta wings on the back of my hat have faded over time, I decided to ask for another pair on this flight. When I asked the flight attendant if I could have a pair, she said "Sure, if I can find one." She them told me Delta is discontinuing them.
She didn't give me a reason, but I can almost bet it is because they contain a sharp metal object.
My friend with whom I'm staying has to work today, but was nice enough to lend me his car. Still, I'm stuck in a general area without a whole lot to do. This kinda sucks, because he doesn't get out of work until 22:00 tonight.
Whee. Seven hours filled with a whole lot of nothing.
