Happy Memorial Day, everyone. In honor of the people who are serving and have served in our armed forces, throw a steak on the grill today and remember them.
The adjustment to my new work schedule has been fairly painless. After my first day, it was just a matter of shifting the entire day to be awake during work time, and sleep during the day. Of course, it's hard to sleep when jets from Dobbins ARB are flying inches over my roof, but thankfully, that's not a daily occurance.
As for fun, I'm in the process of adding yet another computer system to my car. I bought myself a Fujitsu Point 510 tablet computer, and I'm going to rig it into my car to handle GPS navigation. The GPS software is pretty nifty, as it has both voice recognition and synthesis. Thus, the need for a keyboard is virtually nothing. It has a touch screen if need be, so I'm not totally without control of the unit.
