I haven't heard back from nVidia yet, but after much tinkering, I've discovered it may not be a driver problem. There's a point in Return to Castle Wolfenstein at which the computer shits itself due to the graphics settings, and I've been able to replicate the crash at the exact same point in the game under Linux as well as Windows. Quake 3 Arena also crashes, as well as anything else that happens to use OpenGL. This is bad, and totally unacceptable. I might just end up returning the card.

In other news, I'm looking to create a new header image soon. Something should pop up shortly.

Update: After a ridiculous amount of tinkering, hardware pulling, testing, and configuration, I've given up on the GeForce 4. I returned it to the store this afternoon, and instead, got myself a GeForce 2. It seems to work just fine.
