I returned from Florida late last week, and have been enjoying my time off in the interim until I return to work. I hope to go flying again soon, too. It has been awhile. Hopefully with my new job and new schedule, I'll be able to go flying more often, and get that private pilot certificate a lot sooner. Once I get it, I hope to rent a plane for a day and fly down to Florida to visit my family.

My brother was in town this week, which was interesting considering I just saw him last week when I was in Florida. He's up here on business, but has had free time during the evenings.

In other news, SCO is now preparing to sue end-users of Linux-based operating systems. I sent them an e-mail this morning stating my position politely, yet firmly. It pretty much says that they're not going to get a dime from me.

I also filed a complaint against SCO with the Federal Trade Commission this morning. I figure it can't be proper business to try and extort money from people who don't have any prior business relationship with you whatsoever. Since the FTC looks for trends in their complaints, I'm guessing it would be good to add to the SCO pool in their files. If SCO does contact me regarding this situation, I'll be calling the FTC back with my shiny new reference number to let them know.
