A few weeks ago I purchased my first firearm. I bought myself a Glock 17, and it's a pretty nice gun. While I've owned it for a few weeks, I only fired it for the first time this past Tuesday, at a shooting range with my brother (and his Glock 19). I'm tempted to make an offer to Glock USA to rework their website into something better in exchange for another one of their guns (a Glock 18 perhaps? HEH!), as their current website is absolute dogshit. Even worse, their top-notch products are actively being represented by this crappy site. It's a nasty contrast.
Anyway, I was originally looking to buy the 19 as the 17 looked way too big and bulky. As it turned out, the 17 is actually more comfortable for me to hold since the 19's smaller grip forces my fingers together unnaturally and uncomfortably. The 17's handle is much more accomodating.
Interestingly enough, I find I shoot better with one hand rather than two. You can see a picture of my Glock.
In other news, the Accipiter.org network has expanded. It was bound to happen, and the network has taken on its first external partner site. As previously mentioned, my friend Kurt's website now resides on Accipiter.org's servers. To mark the occasion, I've created a network map for a quick and easy reference to the sites in the Accipiter.org network and its affiliate sites.
If I know you, and you want to be an affiliate, let me know. We'll see what arrangements can be made.
