My friend Kim died.

It sucks, because she was still quite young and has a really nice family. Cancer is a nasty thing, folks. It sort of makes you wonder about things, when good people are continually snatched off of this planet for no good reason other than being a bit sick. In my head it answers more questions than it presents, though I don't necessarily like those answers.

I'll save the philosophical discussions for some other time, and simply say that Kim was a friend, and I'm a bit peeved at the universe for making someone like her check out so early.

It was great knowing you, Kim. I wish only the best for you and your family, and I hope your ride on Earth, while shorter than it should have been, was a good and happy one. I believe I'm right.

Dude, I am so sorry. Anyone who is a friend of yours is a worthy person...
Condolences, man.
