I went to the doctor today, partly because of a chronic throat problem that has plagued me forever, but mostly because I woke up and felt like crap on Wednesday, and it lasted through Today. I had a nasty sore throat and felt like shit.

The sore throat is all but gone today, but I woke up this morning not able to hear out of my left ear. Every I/O cavity in my head is so screwed up it's not even funny. I've already been on a bunch of different medications, all unsuccessful, so I'm not entirely sure where we're going from here. Last time I went to my doctor he mentioned x-rays being the next step, so today he took a look and a listen, and sent me next door for x-rays. I asked the technologist what it would take for me to get a copy of my x-rays, and she asked why I wanted them. "Because I want them" was reason enough for me, but was not good enough according to her. I replied "It's going to have to be." Needless to say, I went home with a copy of my x-rays.

The one where I'm looking up with my mouth open is awesome.

radlab0 and I both have MRI images of our brains, I used to have an X-ray of my leg from when I broke it, but I must agree with you that yer skull is DA BOMB.

Seriously, hope you're feeling better.

Thanks.

But yeah, that skull picture is very Hollow Man-esque. It rocks. I wish I had an MRI image of my brain. That's awesome. Is it on film or something?

I think if I was able to get a scan of my brain, I'd want the actual 3D data on disc so I can view and manipulate it in VR. That would kick serious ass.

My MRI brain images are on film, I think wonko's are in some electronic file format, and quite possibly in a VR-manipulable format. I don't remember, though.

In the very least, I could definitely get 3D data files for both of us, since the people who have the data are friends of mine.

Are you feeling better yet? Did they figure out what was wrong with you?

p.s. Could you e-mail me your phone number so that it isn't lost anymore?

That is awesome.

I'm feeling a bit better, though the past few days I've been waking up with headaches. Doctor thinks my throat problem is consistent with Sinusitis, so we're moving from there. We'll see.

E-mail will be sent promptly.

OK, dammit, you need to put up something new on your journal page. We're used to being updated every two weeks or so. Pbbbt!! Heheheh.
