Last week, I decided I wanted to build a model of the Titanic. I'm not a model builder, but I assumed that while this is a time consuming effort, it would be fun. Looking at pictures of Titanic models others have done, I was quick to criticize their paint work. "Jesus, that's sloppy."
I started painting the model last night. After attempting to paint some of the tiny details, I have developed a new respect for those people who managed to paint their models at all. The detail work is incredibly hard to do, and I don't have the dexterity to paint such tiny details. That, on top of the fact that I have very little experience in model building leads me to believe that this will look like shit when it's finished. I hope I'm wrong.
I saw the Final Fantasy movie on Wednesday. You know where to go to see how I liked it.
