I found out a few weeks ago that my Aunt and Uncle are moving to the Atlanta area due to some work-related shifts. That's pretty cool, as I will have some family close by. I had dinner with them last night, and it was really great to see them again.
Nothing new on the job front as of yet, thought I did get a call from a security company in the midwest interested in my skills. I'm still actively searching at the moment, but I don't really have any leads so far. Plus, as much as I wanted to avoid doing so, I filed for unemployment insurance today. I figure it is a little bit of income to help with the bills while I continue to look for work.
I hacked up a quick Deep Thoughts script and tried to find a good place for it on the front page, but no matter where I put it, it didn't look right. I'll probably stick it on one of the second or third level pages somewhere.
