I bought my plane ticket to Florida this morning. After searching the flights and prices last night, I was totally convinced I wasn't going to go home this year. Being unemployed means you can't spend $385.74 on a plane ticket. (Yes, that's Delta's exact website price.)
Luckily, my friend messaged me this morning with a trip that departs two days earlier, and is $233 cheaper. Now, while $385 is totally out of the question for someone in my situation, $152, being less than half the price, is much easier to chew.
