"What? No Valentine's Day color scheme for the front page?"
That's absolutely correct. There's no reason for me to scheme the colors of my site into ugly pinks and reds, for a holiday created solely to sell chocolate, flowers, and cards. Plus, the fact that I don't have someone with which to celebrate this holiday makes it even less needed.
Me? Bitter? Nah.
When the time comes that I have a significant other, and she makes suggestions regarding Valentine's day, I intend to mention that Emperor Claudius of Rome had St. Valentine clubbed, stoned, and beheaded on Febuary 14, 270 CE.
And if the words "he had it easy" happen to spring forth from my lips as well, so be it.
