So it begins. It would seem I make my triumphant return to the work force on this day, the 23rd anniversary of my birth. I start my new job today at the stroke of noon, and I'm not entirely sure when I will be starting my regular schedule beginning at midnight.
Probably sometime later in the week.

Update: I checked with my co-workers in my department, and it looks like I will be starting the overnight schedule on Monday. It's probably for the best, as this week will be used to get acquainted with the office, while learning the nuances of the position. Once next week rolls around, I'll hopefully be prepared for anything that might come my way.
