So my first week on the job is winding down, and I think it's going to be a good experience. Granted, the 12am-8am shift isn't the best schedule I've had, but the work isn't totally dull, and it seems like a good company. Yada Yada Yada.
The thing that sucks, however, is that I happened to start working on payday. That means I don't get to see a paycheck for two weeks from my start date. At least I worked the full two weeks, so the paycheck will give me an exact idea of what they will all be like. I can't wait to put some cash back into the bank.
I also have to remember to bring food. Of all the 8 hour shifts one can work, mine is the least forgiving with regard to available foodservice.
