Similar to my letter to Lysol (which went unanswered, the bastards), I'd like to share a letter I sent to PETA very recently:

Date: Mon, 21 Feb 2005 09:20:49 -0500
From: "Christopher R. Curzio"
To: info@peta.org
Subject: Culinary Information
X-Mailer: Sylpheed version 1.0.1 (GTK+ 1.2.10; i686-pc-linux-gnu)

To whom it may concern:

Hello, PETA members. I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail to let you in on a bit of information that may be of interest.

You may be familiar with a restaurant called Ruth's Chris Steak House. It's a rather upscale restaurant in Atlanta, famous for its steak. Anyway, I dined there yesterday evening, and I ordered the New York Strip. It was delicious. Of course, my side dishes consisted of steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes (with a hint of roasted garlic), but the steak itself, sizzling when it reached the table in a super light coating of butter and a dusting of parsley, was absolutely fabulous. It was such a flavorful cut of meat that was cooked to medium-rare perfection, I just wanted to share the experience with you.

So please continue to enjoy your block of tofu, or whatever it is you people eat for dinner, because that just means the availability of delicious pieces of cow will extend to the population less your members.

Very sincerely yours,

Christopher Curzio

I doubt anyone over at PETA has seen the PETA Advocacy section of the Accipiter.org network, so I doubt they're even familiar with the network at all. In any case, I'm hope I get a reply. I'm very interested in their views on this particular point.
