I'm back from Tennessee, and I'm tired as hell. I didn't get home until 00:43 and I had to be up for work at 5:30, so I'm not terribly rested at the moment. It was a great trip as always, though.

I started my trip early Sunday morning, and I made what Google estimated to be a five-hour trip in less than four. I arrived in Clarksville at around 09:30 Central Time (that's 10:30 for those of us in the proper timezone) and dicked around while Kurt was in Knoxville doing Army crap. I did my radio show live from Clarksville right on time, and spent the afternoon watching a baseball game at Austin Peay University with Ches. Johnny arrived much later that night.

Monday was spent making sausage (I should get Kurt to make a food thread for GBSFood next time they make it) and general hangings out until Monday evening, which is when we had our gathering. Scott and Julia arrived (it's always awesome to see them) along with Corrie, a very cool friend of Julia whom I first met at Scott's birthday party last June. (She and Julia both had new and fabulous haircuts.) Two of Kurt's friends (from school?) also arrived, and the rest of the time was spent eating food and talking. It was a fun evening.

Tuesday was my last day in Tennessee. The morning was spent playing Half Life 2 with some sprinkles of CounterStrike and watching Pluto Nash until we ventured to a nearby building that was in the process of being torn down. I had my camera with me, so I was able to snap a decent amount of pics for a brand new entry on Smooth Criminal. Crap, I really need to redesign and automate that site already. Anyway, I left Kurt's place at 4:30 and stopped in Nashville to take Scott and Julia out to dinner. They recommended a tiny little Indian market/restaurant that turned out to be really really good.

I started my drive home at 9:13pm and parked my car in front of my apartment exactly 3 hours and 30 minutes later. Another fun trip that went by far too quickly.

SUPERIOR!

I have to admit, when I tasted the first cracker, I did not immediately see the appeal. It tasted rather bland and not at all special. It was not until I tasted the second cracker when the apparent heroin took effect that I realized I needed more.

Then I made my boss taste one. He said, "they're saltine crackers." Obviously they had the same effect on him, because a few minutes later he came to my desk and took more.

They aren't just saltine crackers. They are SUPERIOR saltine crackers. And it is magical.

They're really good with peanut butter, too.

Thus the reason why we should probably call them crack-ers.

I'm sorry, but that was just bad.

Also...um.

Did I mention they were really good with peanut butter?

You did, and I agree. The CEO of my company says they'd also go good with clam chowder.

I made lots of people try them.

1) Nothing is good with clam chowder. Clam chowder is bad. Don't eat things with shells.

2) Anything that's good with peanut butter is better with Nutella.

3) PEPSI, APPLE, AND AFTERSTEP ALL SUCK

5) Thanks for visiting. NOW IT'S YOUR TURN TO COME VISIT

You forgot to go past the site of the future Accipiter Circle and you also forgot the lovingly printed not-yet-blue prints of Accipiter Circle.

Therefore you owe us another visit.
