My house is starting to come together a bit more. Considering I've been living here for seven months I'm positive this should be the case. Today was primarily decorating with a bit of maintenance. When I woke up I decided it was time to get some curtains for the living room. I've had a color scheme in mind for this room for some time and I'm just now executing it. The good thing is that I don't need to change the color of the walls for it to work.
Now all this room needs is a coffee table and an end table.
I also ended up getting some white café curtains for my kitchen along with matching valances, and a bath mat for the upstairs bathroom. Next I'm going to get some curtains for that same bathroom and then actually paint the thing.
I also straightened my mailbox post since someone decided to take it out of the ground and lay it across my front yard before I left for Italy. For the time being I had it temporarily propped up enough to stand on its own, but it was crooked since it wasn't set really well. I picked up a garden spade at Target on my way home, re-dug the hole, and properly set the post back into the ground.
