Things are interesting.
First and foremost I want to extend congratulations to my friends Brian and Lindsay who just got married yesterday. Granted they're not going to see this for some time as they are probably already a little more than halfway to Hawaii right now, but it's the day after the wedding and I was too tired after the ceremony/reception last night to write this update.
Of course while I've never been one to discuss my own relationship-ish stuff on my site, I feel like I need to make an exception in this case. Yes, I have a girlfriend. Yes, she's awesome. No, she's not pretend. We've had a really great month together so far, and it doesn't show signs of slowing. This weekend we're headed up to the lake, so I'm going to have to once again suppress my seasickness, or at least make sure the boat just keeps moving forward.
Then there's work. I have a new boss already. Thanks to some corporate restructuring I've been moved under an engineering manager whose department was also shifted under someone else. No big deal, though. As good as my last manager was, I've worked with my new boss regularly and he's a cool guy. Plus, since I have a very specific job, nothing about what I do is going to be different. I'm not worried about the change.
