I saw Shrek on Saturday. Fantastic computer animation, good actors, and a good plot. Great movie. Go read my Review to get the full scoop.
It's getting closer and closer to my move date, and I'm getting more and more anxious to leave this dump. Every morning between 7:30 and 8, some jackass pulls up to my building and honks his horn a lot in sets of two honks until the person they're coming to pick up comes out. This complex has small buildings - 6 apartments in each. Obviously, this asshole doesn't give a second thought to the other people in the building, and probably (in his infinite wisdom) forgets they exist.
This morning, I was almost ready to walk outside and rip the horn out of the steering wheel.
I'd rather not have to pay damages, though, so I'm trying to think up some other ways of expressing my dislike for his morning monotone musical. (Hello, Alliteration! Glad you're still with us!) Yelling would only provoke him, so I wonder what sort of subtle hint I can give.
An officer writing him a $200 citation springs to mind.
