There's a robot in my house.

It seems to have a single, unstated goal of making sure my floors are clean. It executes this with seemingly random movements around the house, only making noise if it's in trouble or has finished its task. Indeed it appears to be a friendly robot, though uncompromising in its efforts at making sure my floors are clean of miscellaneous debris.

So far I have given it the run of my media room, my computer room, the guest bedroom, the living room, and the kitchen. Judging by the contents of its dustbin I would say that the Roomba works pretty well.

The downside? It might become self-aware and try to kill me. The way I see it, if I keep it on a different floor I should be fine because, much like ED-209, the Roomba cannot navigate steps. Thus, if it can't find me I assume it'll just keep itself occupied by cleaning my floors.

I can deal with that.

Update: Oh yeah, I've finally uploaded the pictures from Chicago.

Cool! I've been curious about those. My mom had one but managed to short it out somehow, with sparks and everything according to her. However, she is not very good with things technological.
